CHRIS BATT CONSULTING is a consultancy focusing on two vital aspects of the development of public services - strategic visioning for the future and the training and development of staff to translate service priorities and innovation into effective and sustainable delivery.

The scope of the consultancy ranges from the integration of cultural services through understanding and exploiting the future of digital technologies to coaching individuals to improve their skills and performance.

RECENT WORK OF THE CONSULTANCY INCLUDES:

• JISC-funded Digipedia project to develop an online 'one-stop-shop' for everything needed to develop a digitisation programme, designed to meet the needs of both policy makers and practitioners

• Feasibility planning for the new central public library in Ghent, Belgium

• Expert assessment of e-Content Plus programme bids (European Commission, Luxembourg)

• Staff development workshops (South East Libraries Performance Improvement Group; Bromley Libraries)

• Audiences and e-content study (Strategic Content Alliance)

• Strategic programme planning for innovation and implementation (Joint Information Systems Committee)
